Q. What is the reason for planting a new church?

A. According to our preliminary study of the RTP area, there are five Chinese churches, and less than 6% of ethnic Chinese in this area attend a church. There remains more than 94% who are not involved in a church, and itis a big challenge for any one church in this area to reach all those people. We believe we can take part in reaching out to these people.

Q. What is your Mission Statement?

A. The mission of the Chinese Bible Church of North Carolina (CBCNC) is to bring glory to God through exalting Jesus Christ as Lord, edifying the believers to grow into maturity, and evangelizing the world locally and globally. The ministry of the church emphasizes relationship with God, spiritual growth and care for the lost through worship, fellowship, and Christian education and gospel outreach.

Q. What is your Purpose?

A. We aim to establish a Bible-based, trilingual (Mandarin/English/Cantonese) church, where each individual can worship God in his or her own language in the Triangle area.

Q. What is your Philosophy of Ministry?

A. Our philosophy of ministry is 1. Christ Centered, 2. Bible-based, 3. Disciple disciplined, 4. Family focused, 5. Evangelism emphasized, 6. Missions minided, 7. People participated, 8. Community cared, 9. Society served, 10. Kingdom kindled.

Q. What is your Ecclesiastical Polity?

A. Our church will adopt the ecclesiastical polity of the Chinese Bible Church of Maryland, which is ruled by the Board of Elders.

THE ROMAN ROAD
